Solution:-
g – 2.4 = 3.6
g – 2.4 = 3.6
g – 2.4 + 2.4 = 3.6 + 2.4
g = 6
The answer is 6.

Solving inequalities Using Addition or Subtraction
Solve 5w + 6 ≤ 4w – 2.5.
Solution:-
5w + 6 ≤ 4w – 2.5
5w + 6 + (– 4w) ≤ 4w – 2.5 + (– 4w)
w + 6 ≤ –2.5.
w + 6 + (–6) ≤ –2.5 + (–6)
w ≤ –8.5.

Standard Form:
Write each equation in standard form. Identify A, B, and C.
A. y = 3x – 10
Solution:-
General form of line (or) linear `=>` Ax+Bx+C=0
y = 3x – 10
–3x + y = –10
3x – y = 10
3x -y +10 = 0
Hence, A = 3, B = –1, and C = 10.
B. `2/3` x = –6y + 1
Solution:-
General form of line (or) linear`=>` Ax+Bx+C=0
`2/3` x = –6y + 1
`2/3` x + 6y = 1
2x + 18y = 3
2x +18y + 3 = 0
Hence, A = 2, B = 18, and C = 3.
c. 7y – 28x + 14 = 0
Solution:-
General form of line (or) linear`=>` Ax+Bx+C=0
7y – 28x + 14 = 0
7y – 28x = –14
4x – y = 2
4x - y - 2=0
Hence, A = 4, B = –1, and C = 2.

Functional Values of Variables
Find p (–2) if p(x) = –x4 – x3 + 6.
Solution:-
p (x) = –x4 – x3 + 6
p (–2) = –(–2)4 – (–2)3 + 6
= –16 – (–8) + 6
= –2.

i) Solve the equation 5x2 + 15x + 10 = 0 by using quadratic formula in algebra 2 level 2
Answer: x1 = -1 and x2 = -2
ii). Solve the equation 5x2 + 15x + 10 = 0 by using factorizing method.

iii). Solve the equation 3x2 + 4x + 1 = 0 by using quadratic formula online in algebra 2 level 2.
